PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system for an elevator capable of providing predetermined information to a user by an inexpensive constitution. SOLUTION: A landing light emission control device 8 and a car light emission control device 9 modulates the light emission period of respective LEDs 4a-8a and radiates a visual light forming a light signal from the respective LEDs 4a-8a by flashing the respective LEDs 4a-8a. The light signal radiated from the respective LEDs 4a-8a is received by an information terminal 10 possessed by the user and having a light receiving part 10a and a display part 10b. The landing light emission control device 8 and the car light emission control device 9 distribute one or both of drive information and general information as predetermined information to the information terminal 10 through the light signal from the respective LEDs 4a-8a.
