PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for forming a seal material capable of uniformly irradiating a resin composition for the seal material with the activation energy radiation and capable of improving sealing characteristics of the seal material, and a manufacturing method of the seal material using the same. SOLUTION: The mold 1 for forming the seal material includes a core mold 10 and a cavity mold 20, and is characterized in that a cavity is formed so that a ratio h/W between a height (h) of a cross section of the seal material and a line width W on an inner surface of the core mold is within a range of 0.8-2, and the cavity mold part from an inner surface of the cavity confronting the core mold inner surface 11 to the outer surface is a transparent body 40.
