PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for rasing dregs of a label, enabling to avoid the cut of a label material (a dreg raised portion) on a dreg raising part or the come-off of a label piece while avoiding an increase in the size of the device without greatly reforming a conventional label product manufacturing device. SOLUTION: It is noted that, in addition to a conventional dregs raising roller 14, a dregs raising direction correcting roller 22 is provided for further guiding the dreg raised portion dreg-raised by the dreg raising roller 14 along the direction of transferring the label material 8 or a label product 15. The dregs raising device comprises the dregs raising roller 14 for separating the dregs raised portion of a label substrate 10 from the label piece 12 and peeling it from a pasteboard 9 in the dregs raising direction, and the dregs raising direction correcting roller 22 for further guiding the dregs raised portion separated from the dregs raising roller 14 and dregs-raised by the dregs raising roller 14 along the direction of transferring the label material 8.
