摘要 <p>Process for uphill casting/low pressure casting light metal alloys comprises using a casting plate (11) having a through hole (12), a casting furnace (21) arranged below the plate (11) and having an ascending pipe (22) forming an upward-opening orifice (24), and a casting mould (1, 2) with a base plate (30) having a downward-opening pouring gate (31, 32). Said orifice (24) is joined from below to the through hole (12) in a sealing manner; the pouring gate (31, 32) pertaining to the casting mould (1, 2) is aligned over the through hole (12); molten metal is transported via the ascending pipe (22) from the casting furnace (21) to the casting mould (1, 2), filling said casting mould; and the casting mould (1, 2) is displaced horizontally on the casting plate (11) when the connection between the casting furnace (21) and the casting mould (1, 2) is open and filled with molten metal, until the pouring gate (31, 32) is closed below by the casting plate (11), and the through hole (12) is closed above by the base plate (30). The molten metal is then left to fall back into the ascending pipe (22) to a point below the orifice (24). The apparatus has means for horizontal displacement of the mould (1, 2) on the casting plate (11) and means for simultaneously maintaining a positive pre-pressure of the mould base plate (30) towards the casting plate (11).</p>
