A heat sink using foam metal is provided to improve efficiency for heat dissipation comparing an aluminum heat sink of the same volume by using foamed aluminum so that a radiating area widens. A heat sink using foam metal comprises base portion, heat radiation fin and heat absorber plate. The base portion(11) is made of foamed aluminum of an open pore structure in which pores are exposed outside. The heat radiation fin(12) in which external air is heat-exchanged is extended from the base portion. The heat absorber plate(13) is installed in order to be combined in the lower part of the base portion and be adjacent to the heat dissipation media and is made of the material having the high thermal conductivity.
