Hollow steering rack bar for the vehicles and the manufacturing method thereof are provided that the equalization of the productivity and increase of quality according to the standardization of task can be planned. A hollow steering rack bar for the vehicles comprises a cylindrical axial part having the tubular hollow, a tooth-shaped part in which the rack gear is shaped in the single-side which is even to one side of the axial part. The tooth-shaped part includes a geared surface(3a) in which the rack gear is molded, a curvature taper surface(3b) having the curvature connected to the obtuse angle about both sides of geared surface, a curvature horizontal plane(3d) which is protruded in order to being parallelly arranged, a strength reinforcement side(3c) in which the concave groove having the slow curvature is shaped.
