摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road-vehicle communication system for highly precisely supporting safety drive to a driver. <P>SOLUTION: This road-vehicle communication system is provided with: an optical beacon having a light emitter/receiver 8 whose communication area is set to the prescribed range of a road R; and an in-vehicle equipment to be mounted on a vehicle for transmitting/receiving up-link information and down-link information with the light emitter/receiver 8 in the communication area. The light emitter/receiver 8 is provided with a light receiving part 12 having a light receiving face 14a for receiving the up-link information. The light receiving part 12 sets an up-link region UA in order to project the light receiving face 14a on the road R, and outputs light receiving location information related with the light receiving location where the up-link information has been received on the light receiving face 14a. An optical beacon 4 is provided with a control part for generating in-vehicle unit location information showing the transmitting location where the in-vehicle unit has transmitted the up-link information in the up-link region UA based on the light receiving location information output by the light receiving part 12, and for making the light emitting/receiving unit 8 transmit the down-link information including the in-vehicle unit location information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
