<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comprehensively determine both of a file access condition and a network access condition for preventing an important file from being transmitted to a network. <P>SOLUTION: The file protection device is provided with an access management part receiving file access information and network access information to integrally process the file access information and the network access information, a file access control part monitoring a file access request made by an application for a file and controlling the file access based on access control information from the access management part, and a network access control part monitoring network access by the application and controlling the network access based on the access control information from the access management part.
