<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve brightness change of a pixel due to environmental temperature variation in low electric power. <P>SOLUTION: A display device includes: a display region 15 arranging a plurality of the pixels 10; a display scanning circuit 17 and a signal drive circuit 16 for driving the plurality of the pixels; a display part 100 having a power source circuit 18 for supplying a current for making each of the plurality of the pixels emit light in brightness in response to a display signal from the signal drive circuit; a monitor element 20 of a constant current drive for detecting an environmental temperature; a plurality of constant current sources 25, 26; and a detecting part 200 for generating a signal controlling output voltage of the power source circuit 18 by detecting a voltage value relating to emission brightness of the pixel 10 by the monitor element 20, and changing the constant current for the monitor element 20 in response to a voltage value detected with the detecting part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
