<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chloroplast pyruvic acid transporter protein (TP1) closely involved in C4 photosynthesis circuit, and to provide a gene encoding the same. <P>SOLUTION: Provided are the protein as TP1 comprising a specific amino acid sequence, the protein comprising an amino acid sequence having ≥70% homology with the above amino acid sequence, a DNA comprising a specific base sequence as the gene comprising a domain encoding the TP1, and a DNA hybridizable, under stringent conditions, with a DNA comprising a base sequence complementary to the base sequence. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
