摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt type continuously variable transmission having a structure capable of improving its installation performance, in the belt type continuously variable transmission having an forward-reverse shifting mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The forward-reverse shifting mechanism 16 is coaxially arranged with an input shaft 36 between the input shaft 36 and a pump housing 62 of an oil pump 28 arranged so as to block up the opening side of a transmission case 54, and since the forward-reverse shifting mechanism 16 is formed as a structure supported by the pump housing 62, when installing a vehicular power transmission device 10 (the belt type continuously variable transmission 18), the forward-reverse shifting mechanism 16 can be installed in a state of being supported by the pump housing 62.
