<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device such as a vehicle which is miniaturized and capable of performing the lateral transfer. <P>SOLUTION: The conveying device comprises a stacking unit (220) which is expandable in the expanding direction toward the side of a track part, and a conveying unit (120) having expanding mechanisms (600) for expanding the same. The expanding mechanisms extend in the expanding direction, and are opposite to each other via a space. The conveying device has a first rack (510) fixed to a body part (210) and a second rack (520) fixed to the stacking unit, a first pinion (610) to be engaged with the first rack and a second pinion (620) to be engaged with the second rack, and third pinions (630) of odd number to be engaged between the first and second pinions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
