PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device capable of responding to a transmission confirmation ACK with respect to an MC/BC communication under a radio LAN communication environment. SOLUTION: The radio communication device conforms to a standard IEEE802.11 of a radio LAN communication, and is used for a radio communication system equipped with functions for performing multicast communication which simultaneously transmits from a master station to a specific number of terminals, and performing broadcast communication which simultaneously transmits to an unspecific number of terminals. The radio communication device is characterized by being equipped with a function for giving a value for identifying presence of reply in an ACK frame as an affirmative confirmation response to a transmission content to an MAC header when the multicast or broadcast data frame is transmitted from the master station.
