PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device in which occurrence of a dark spot is suppressed. SOLUTION: The organic EL display device is equipped with a first substrate AS which includes an insulating substrate and an organic EL element supported on one of its main face, a second substrate CS which faces the organic EL element, a seal layer SS of frame shape which is interposed between the first substrate AS and the second substrate CS and surrounds the organic EL element, a first drying agent DS1 which is located in a space surrounded by the first substrate AS, the second substrate CS, and the seal layer SS and chemisorbs steam, and a second drying agent DS2 which is located in the above space and physisorbs steam.
