PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an awakening device for preventing a driver from sucking up injected solution. SOLUTION: This awakening device 1 is provided with an ECU2 for detecting the lowering of the awakening degree of a driver, and for blowing cooling air, and for injecting mist. This ECU 2 is provided with a camera 3, a respiration monitor device 4, a mist injection device 5, and an air conditioner ECU 6. Then, the ECU 2 is provided with a nap detection part 7, a face position detection part 8, a respiration detection part 9, and an arousal processing part 10. When the nap of the driver is detected by the nap detection part 7, the mist injection device 5 and the air conditioner ECU 6 are controlled to inject mist to the driver, and to blow cooling air in the respiration timing of the driver detected by the respiration detection part 9.
