摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alignment device for a spherical article capable of aligning articles of ellipse ball shape in a predetermined direction. SOLUTION: In the alignment device, a conveying belt 13 for conveying the articles P of ellipse ball shape received from an entrance S1 to an exit S2 while placing them on a placing surface 15 is provided, a first alignment belt 20 moved at a slower speed than a conveying speed of the conveying belt is provided at one side of sides with the conveying belt interposed therebetween, at an upper part of the placing surface and in parallel to the conveying belt, a second alignment belt 21 moved at a faster speed than the conveying speed of the conveying belt 13 is provided at the other side in parallel while retaining a smaller clearance than the length in a long axis direction of the article between the first alignment belt and it. According to the constitution, the articles of the ellipse ball shape are transferred to the placing surface of the conveying belt in an attitude that a long axis direction is directed to a width direction of the conveying belt from the entrance, and when one side in the long axis direction of the article makes contact with the first and second alignment belt, the articles are turned around a central part and the long axis direction is directed to a conveying direction of the conveying belt.
