The device has a host computer (EHR) for coordinating and controlling a set of appliance units (AW, R, N, A, W) comprising a computer-algebra system (CAS) based on the priority, where the appliance units are connected over a controller area network (CAN)-bus system. The CAS is formed as a C-base system, where the computer has access to the system control of C-base system. The C-base system transfers image data and parameter values to the computer in real time. Interface units between the appliance units are provided, where the communication between interface units results over a CAN-bus.
