<p>The arrangement has a wet cooling tower (12) to which cooling water is fed into a riser shaft, distribution channels (18) supplied from the riser shaft for introducing the cooling water, shut-off elements (22) for the distribution channels and an overflow shaft for receiving excess cooling water, especially for operating a process.
