<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater provided with a secondary heat exchanger for collecting latent heat, constituted so that a pinhole is never formed by drainage. <P>SOLUTION: As this water heater comprises a downward burner 2 burning in a combustion chamber 3, a primary heat exchanger 4 disposed at an upstream side in the combustion gas flowing direction of the burner 2 for exchanging heat between sensible heat of the combustion gas and passing water, an exhaust path 7 forming a meandering path after allowing the combustion gas having passed through the primary heat exchanger 4, to do a U-turn, the secondary heat exchanger 8 formed by winding a water pipe on an outer side of the exhaust path 7 to exchange heat with latent heat of the combustion gas circulated in the exhaust path 7, and a neutralizer 10 disposed at a lower part of the exhaust path 7 provided with the secondary heat exchanger 8 to collect and neutralize the drainage, the probability of water leakage caused by the pinhole formed on the secondary heat exchanger 8 by drainage having strong acidity, can be eliminated, and the water heater can be used at ease. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
