<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a natural law mat having no need of putting soil containing harmful various germs and/or seeds of other plants to save a user labor, and excellent in usability. <P>SOLUTION: The natural lawn mat is obtained by laminating a coco piece (comprising spongy grains made of coco and used as artificial soil) 3 on a porous water-permeable root-resistant sheet 2, and vegetating natural lawn 4 on the coco piece to be formed so as to be rolled into a roll state. The coco piece is excellent in water retention and air permeability, has richly nutritious ingredients essential for growth of lawn, and has no risk of getting mixed with seeds of weed and the like because the mat can be sterilized in its production process. The natural lawn mat is easy to transport and handle because the roots of the natural lawn vegetated on the coco piece grow to extend between the grains of the coco piece and entangle with the water-permeable root-resistant sheet, so that the natural lawn, the coco piece and the water-permeable root-resistant sheet are integrated with one another via the roots of the lawn and the shape of the mat is kept even when cut into optional width and length. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
