<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic motor in which a vibrator can stably and minutely drive a driven body. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic motor comprises: the ultrasonic vibrator 2 having a piezoelectric element; the driven body 4 driven by a friction force between the ultrasonic vibrator 2 and itself; a holding member 3 which is firmly adhered in the vicinity of a node of a standing wave in a ultrasonic vibrator 2, and has a protrusion 3a; a press-push member 9 which press-pushes the holding member 3; a box 7 having a holding member opposing face 7b which is a face opposing the holding member 3; and an abutting member 13 which is arranged at the press-push member 9 or the box 7, and makes the holding member 3 press-contact with the holding member opposing face 7b by press-pushing the protrusion 3a of the holding member 3. The holding member 3 is sandwiched by the abutting member 13 abutting on the protrusion 3a and the holding member opposing face 7b of the box 7, and regulated in a position in the drive direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
