<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel on which touch operations can be intuitively made and which can prevent an erroneous operation. <P>SOLUTION: A touch switch type touch panel 6 displays a plurality of operating buttons for selecting a device function in one screen. One of the plurality of the operating buttons is touched first, and while keeping it touched, the same display area as the display area of the operating button touched first or a display area different from the display area of the operating button touched first is double touched.
