PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed wiring board which can identify the polarity of its electrode, even in its high-density mounting state. SOLUTION: An electronic device stores a printed circuit board 200 which has an insulating layer 10, a conductive layer laminated on the insulating layer 10 and having a component mounting region A that has a mounted electronic component 60, and has a solder resist layer 40 applied onto the conductive layer. Here, the conductive layer has a plurality of first pads 20a, 20b that have the mounted electronic component 60 and has a second pad 50, provided in the vicinity of the first pads 20a, 20b and electronic component is not mounted thereon; and further, the second pad 50 has an area smaller than those of the first pads 20a, 20b.
