PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server apparatus in a server base computing system which can achieve screen information transmission regarding a real-time property as important in accordance with a communication state of a network and to provide a client apparatus and a program. SOLUTION: The server apparatus 10 generates screen information to be transmitted to the client apparatus 20, reduces the number of colors of the screen information according to the communication state of the network, and then transmits the color-reduced screen information to the client apparatus 20. The communication state of the network is discriminated by the client apparatus 20 and the client apparatus 20 controls the number of colors to be reduced in the server apparatus 10.
