PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating energy conversion device comprising a curved surface reflection plate and an inclined surface plate, and a floating energy conversion method. SOLUTION: The curved reflection plate is arranged near a rear end part of the first float and is curved along a concentric circle having a center thereof on a rotary axis of the energy conversion means in this floating energy conversion device. The inclined plate is connected to a lower part of the curved surface reflection plate. A cross section of the inclined plate extends downward in a first float direction. Both side surfaces of the curved reflection plate and the inclined surface plate are blocked by a first side surface plate. Another end part of the first side surface plate is attached to a second float. Progressing wave hits the inclined plate and height of the wave is increased. The curved surface reflection plate reflects the wave. The inclined plate reduce natural frequency of longitudinal vibration of the second float and efficiently moves the first float even for wave of wavelength of double or more length of the floating energy conversion device.
