PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strut of a snowslide/rock fall protective body enabling the easy transportation and carrying-in of struts, providing landslide suppressing effect, and manufacturable economically. SOLUTION: In this strut 2. a strut lower part 2S fixed to a slope Y for use as a landslide suppressing pile to a strut upper part 2U connected to the upper part of the strut lower part 2S. The strut lower part 2S is thinner than the strut upper part 2U. Since the strut lower part 2S is fixed to the slope Y, the landslide suppressing effect of the slope Y can be provided. Since the strut upper part 2U is connected to the strut lower part 2S, the strut upper part 2U is formed in the strut of a protective fence 1, and the protective fence 1 can be constructed.
