PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillar and a beam of a building. SOLUTION: A hole for attaching a side wall body 5 is provided in both side face sections of a steel member 1 having a top plate 4 and a bottom plate 3 fixed thereon and each having an attaching hole. Further, a top side section is extended, and an attachment plate 8 for fixing the beam 7 is provided and fixed. A pillar body embracing and holding a wooden pillar 10 is provided in a space of the attachment plate 8. Two steel members 1a are shaped into an inverted L-shape cross-section through a square steel member 13 and fixed. An attachment plate 14 allowing attachment of the side wall body 5 is fixed to both side face sections of the individual steel members 1a. The wooden pillar 10 can be embraced and held in the space of the attachment plate 14. Thus, the pillar is constructed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
