PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce circuit scale without deteriorating reception quality. SOLUTION: A receiving apparatus includes: demodulation means 15 for demodulating a receiving apparatus transmission signal to output a demodulated output with bits of a predetermined number; reliability calculating means 16 for calculating reliability of the transmission signal to output reliability information; conversion processing means 17 which reduces the number of bits in the demodulated output based on the reliability information and multiplexes out the demodulated output of which the number of bits is reduced and the reliability information; and deinterleave means 18 for performing deinterleaving processing upon output of the conversion processing means.
