PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture in which degradation of average brightness of a display panel is prevented, visibility of a display pattern is improved, and inexpensively, without jeopardizing an appearance. SOLUTION: The lighting fixture is equipped with a nearly rectangular box-shaped fixture main body with a front face open, a light-emitting block attached to the fixture main body from the front face side and irradiating light, and a display block attached to the fixture main body from the front face side. The display block is constituted of the display panel in which the display pattern composed of a hyperchromic region relatively high in gray level and a hypochromic region relatively low in gray level are formed, a light guide plate which is attached to the display panel from the rear face side and irradiates the light irradiated from the light-emitting block to the display panel side, and a translucent sheet 9 arranged and installed between the display panel and the light guide plate. The translucent sheet 9 is formed so that a translucency in a region a' corresponding to the hyperchromic region of the display panel is to have the lowest value in the vicinity of the boundary with a region b' corresponding to the hypochromic region of the display panel, and so that a translucency in the region a' increases gradually as it gets away from the region b'.
