PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect a fraudulent ball whose diameter is smaller than that of a normal game ball in a game machine for playing a game by shooting a game ball from a shooting device to a game area where a winning port is set. SOLUTION: A monitoring means 280 for monitoring the presence/absence of the fraudulent ball whose diameter is smaller than that of a normal game ball is provided in a standby flow path 221 for aligning the game balls before supplying them to the shooting device 61 and making them stand by, and the use of the fraudulent balls is prevented. Also, the monitoring means 280 is provided with an exaggeration means (exaggeration member 281) for exaggerating the change of the position of the game ball due to the difference of the diameters between the normal game ball and the fraudulent ball, and by making the difference of the diameters between the normal game ball and the fraudulent ball remarkable, even the use of the fraudulent ball of the diameter slightly smaller than that of the normal one can be monitored. Also, a step 283 is provided in the standby flow path 221 to regulate the number of game balls standing on the downstream side of a step surface 284, and a game ball detection means (fraudulent ball detection sensor 282) is disposed so as to detect the game ball positioned on the most upstream side of the regulated game balls.
