PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire preventing a stud pin from easily falling out. SOLUTION: A pin hole 6 for burying a stud pin formed in a tread 1 is so formed that the side of an opening is radially enlarged from a predetermined position in the depth direction of the pin hole. Therefore, even if a force to enlarge the pin hole 6 is applied, only the side of an end from the first enlarged portion 6a of the pin hole 6 is enlarged. Accordingly, the base end of the stud pin can be certainly held without enlarging the side of the bottom of the pin hole 6 from the first enlarged portion 6a, and a property resistant to pin fall-out can be enhanced.
