<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device capable of being found out simply without annoying persons around when losing the device, and to provide its search method. <P>SOLUTION: This portable terminal device 100 that is lost transmits positional information of itself to another terminal, when receiving an inquiry about the positional information via a telephone line from the other terminal and a base station 300, in a state where it is locked, and moves from a normal mode to an annunciation mode. The portable terminal device determines a reception level of a search signal from a key unit 200 in the annunciation mode, sounds while keeping keylock, when the reception level of the search signal is above a first level A1, and releases the lock by stopping the sounding, when the reception level is above a second level A2 larger than the first level A1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
