摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the controller of a power transmission device for a vehicle for establishing the increase of the regenerative quantity and operability of regenerative control in the case of coast traveling in the controller of the power transmission device for the vehicle equipped with a shift section configuring a portion of the power transmission path between a driving source and a driving wheel and a motor connected to the input side of the shift part. <P>SOLUTION: When power charging efficiency and/or power generation efficiency by a second motor M2 is given higher priority, this controller is provided with a shift point changing means 108 which changes a shift point upon vehicle decelerating traveling (coast traveling) to the higher speed side than the shift point under the consideration of traveling performance, so that when the power generation by the second motor M2 is given a priority, down-shift can be performed at the higher vehicle speed side than the shift point under the consideration of the traveling performance.
