<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device using a light guide having good light emitting uniformity and good light emitting efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device comprises a light source (LED) 1, a holding member 2 for holding the LED 1, and the light guide 3 for introducing light from the LED 1 through an end face 25 and emitting it from a side face 26. The light guide 3 has the side face 26 whose length is greater than the width of the end face 25, and the end face 25 whose size is greater than the size of a light emitting part 27 of the LED 1. The light guide 3 has a silk-printing or V-groove diffuse reflection mechanism arranged on a face 28 opposite to the side face 26 so as to be gradually denser as being farther from the end face 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
