<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling speed acquisition device capable of quickly acquiring a smooth speed control signal corresponding to the situation. <P>SOLUTION: The traveling speed acquisition device acquires a speed control signal in a route of traveling and computes it again. The acquisition device includes: a division processing unit 11 that divides an acquired speed control signal into signal component at constant speeds; an S-shaped signal generation unit 12 that generates an S-shaped speed control signal component according to the rising and falling edges of the waveform of the divided speed control signal components; a curved signal generation unit 13 that generates a curved speed control signal component based on acceleration corresponding to the S-shaped speed control signal component; and a signal recomputation unit 14 that recomputes a speed control signal in the route of traveling based on the S-shaped speed control signal component and the curved speed control signal component.
