<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjustment system more properly internally adjusting an optical information reader, and satisfactorily preparing or managing an identification code or an adjusting pattern necessary for adjustment thereof. <P>SOLUTION: This adjustment system 1 adjusts a bar-code reader 10 by use of an adjusting terminal 2. The adjusting terminal 2 acquires model information from the bar-code reader 10 to be adjusted, selects the adjusting pattern corresponding to the acquired model information, and displays it on a monitor 3. The bar-code reader 10 reads the adjusting pattern displayed on the monitor 3, and performs the internal adjustment thereof according to a reading result thereof. The adjusting terminal 2 displays an information code for inspection corresponding the model information after displaying the adjusting pattern. The bar-code reader 10 performs the internal adjustment based on the adjusting pattern, thereafter reads the information code for the inspection displayed on the monitor 3, and decides success/failure of the reading. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
