PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing technique capable of analyzing correspondence relation among a plurality of events extracted from a text set including a plurality of texts which can be sequentially aligned. SOLUTION: An event extraction part 12 extracts events from respective element texts included in a series of texts stored in a series text storage part 10 by using event extraction knowledge stored in an event extraction knowledge storage part 11. An event retrieval part 13 generates a combination of extracted events in each element text as a candidate event pair. An inter-event certainty factor calculation part 14 calculates a distance between element texts including the candidate event pair and calculates the certainty factor of the candidate event pair in each element text on the basis of the distance. An event relation selection part 15 selects the event pair on the basis of the calculated certainty factor and stores the selected event pair in an event relation storage part 16 and an event relation display part 17 displays the event pair on a display device.
