PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flywheel device capable of restricting impact force to be applied to an engine output shaft. SOLUTION: This flywheel device 1 comprises a disk portion 2, a wheel portion 3, a mass body 4, and an attachment/detachment mechanism 5 for attaching/detaching the mass body 4 to/from the wheel portion 3. The wheel portion 3 has a wheel main body 3a and a mass body housing part 3b formed with an annular space 8 concentrically with the wheel main body 3a. The mass body 4 is formed of a plurality of rotating rings 10 arranged inside of the annular space 8 in the radial direction of the disk so as to rotate in the circumferential direction of the disk relative to the wheel portion 3. Each of the rotating rings 10 is formed with an engaged hole 11 passing through in the radial direction of the disk. The attachment/detachment mechanism 5 has a movable engagement pin 12 and an energizing means 14 for energizing the movable engagement pin 12 toward the rotating ring in the radial direction of the disk, and attaches/detaches the movable engagement pin 12 to/from the engaged hole 11 in response to centrifugal force generated with rotation of the wheel portion 3.
