PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of sufficiently exhibiting braking performance by a stud pin even if ground pressure inside the tire width direction on the side of a front wheel and ground pressure outside the tire width direction on the side of a rear wheel are increased during braking by vehicle alignment setting. SOLUTION: Stud pins 5 are so arranged that the number of the stud pins is different in one half (first area A) in the width direction from the center in the tire width direction of a tire peripheral surface and the other half (second area B). When the pneumatic tire is mounted as the front wheel of a vehicle 10, the tire is mounted in the direction where the number of the stud pins 5 inside the width direction of the vehicle 10 is increased larger than the number of the stud pins 5 outside the width direction of the vehicle 10. When the pneumatic tire is mounted as the rear wheel of the vehicle 10, the tire is mounted in a direction where the number of the stud pins 5 outside the width direction of the vehicle 10 is increased larger than the number of the stud pins 5 inside the width direction of the vehicle 10.
