PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat pad for a vehicle light in weight and comfortable in sitting without using specially blended urethane. SOLUTION: A large number of bottomed holes 7 are formed at upper surfaces of an under-thigh part 2, an under-hip part 3 and sides 4 of the seat pad 1 for the vehicle. The bottomed holes 7 are recessed in the roughly vertical direction from the upper surface of the seat pad 1 in this enbodiment. These bottomed holes 7 are circular and it is favorable that their diameters (d) are 5-20 mm, especially, 10-15 mm. It is favorable that depths (h) of the bottomed holes 7 are 30-60%, especially, 40-50% of the thickness of the seat pad 1 at positions where the bottomed holes 7 are formed. It is favorable that the bottomed holes 7 are formed at the upper surface of the seat pad 1 at a rate of 5-15 pieces, especially, 8-12 pieces per 100 cm<SP>2</SP>of 10 cm×10 cm as seen in a plan view.
