PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency coil for a magnetic resonance imaging device, which has uniform sensitivity distribution in a central area and has excellent power efficiency. SOLUTION: An intermediate ring conductor 102 is disposed between an outer ring conductor 101 and an inner ring conductor 103 of a barcode gauge coil on a plane surface. When power is supplied by resonance frequency from a power supply point 71, a pattern of direction of current flowing the intermediate ring conductor 102 is the same as a pattern of direction of current flowing the inner ring conductor 103. Thus, a magnetic field (sensitivity) occurring by current flowing the intermediate ring conductor and the inner ring conductor becomes identical in polarity and are superposed each other, thereby flattening the sensitivity of an area between the intermediate ring conductor and the inner ring conductor. Also, the magnetic field (sensitivity) occurred by the outer ring conductor is equal to that occurred when there is no intermediate ring conductor, so that power efficiency does not decrease.
