An absorptive article (1) in which an occurrence of heaving in the article caused by a swell of a highly absorptive resin is minimized. The absorptive article (1) has a liquid pervious front surface sheet (20), a liquid impervious rear surface sheet (30), and a liquid absorptive core (10) placed between the front surface sheet (20) and the rear surface sheet (30) and containing hydrophilic fibers and the highly absorptive resin. Through-holes (15a) are formed in the liquid absorptive core (10), and a high density region (13) in which the density of the highly absorptive resin is higher than that in other regions is provided at a position adjacent to each through-hole (15a).
