The system (1) has a reducing agent storage tank (2), a reducing agent dosing container (3), and an injector for delivering a reducing agent into an exhaust gas pipeline. Pre-conveying units (5) convey the reducing agent from the reducing agent storage tank to the reducing agent dosing container and from the reducing agent dosing container to the injector. The pre-conveying units exhibit reducing agent feed pumps (4) for conveying the reducing agent. An independent claim is also included for a reducing agent dosing method.
