The arrangement has a switching ring movable from a neutral position (N) to a switching position by moving in clockwise and anti-clockwise directions. The ring releases an electric signal or a switching impulse for selecting a left side mirror or a right side mirror for adjustment in the switching position of the ring. Folding in and out of the respective mirror is assigned to another switching position of another switching ring (5), and the heating of the respective mirror is assigned to a third switching position.
