摘要 |

The invention describes a method for operating a moving network (MO) comprising a mobile router (MR) assigned to a home agent (HA) in a home network (HN), wherein a plurality of local network nodes (LFN, LMN) belong to the moving network (MO) and wherein the moving network (MO) is attachable to different networks comprising the home network (HN) and foreign networks (FN) via the mobile router (MR) by using a mobility protocol, particularly the NEMO-protocol. First, second and third separate groups of addresses (G1, G2, G3) are allocated in the home network. The addresses belonging to these groups are then asigned to local fixed nodes, localmobile nodes, and visiting mobile nodes, respectively. When assigning the addresses, the Router Advertisements or DHCP messages indicate to which group of addresses they refer to. this enables assigning. At a foreign network, this enables assigning a topologically correct addresses to the visiting mobile nodes, which they may then register with their respective home agents, thus bypassing the moving network's home agent.
|
