<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having a high charging load characteristic under low temperature environment. <P>SOLUTION: Artificial graphite (A) in which carbon density is 1.55 g/cm<SP>3</SP>or more, (1) a spacing of (002) planes d<SB>002</SB>in an X-ray diffraction pattern is 0.3354-0.3360 nm, (2) an average aspect ratio of graphite particles is 1-5; and natural graphite (B) in which (1) a spacing of (002) planes d<SB>002</SB>in an X-ray diffraction pattern is 0.3354-0.3357 nm, (2) a median diameter (D<SB>50</SB>) is 10-25 μm, the relation of a 10% integrated diameter (D<SB>10</SB>) and a 90% integrated diameter (D<SB>90</SB>), D<SB>90</SB>/D<SB>50</SB>and D<SB>50</SB>/D<SB>10</SB>are 1.6 or less are mixed in a mass ratio of 50:50 to 80:20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
