<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbable composite medical equipment like a warp-knitted composite mesh, which has two or more of profiles of absorbability/biodegradability and a rupture strength-preserving profile and has unique characteristics in different clinical situations. <P>SOLUTION: The warp-knitted composite mesh having the minimum area density of 50 g/m<SP>2</SP>which is equipped with (a) a string component of a slow-absorbing biodegradable multifilament yarn component with about less than 20 microns of diameter of each filament, which has a segmented copolymer including a sequence based on at least 80 percent of L-lactide, and (b) a yarn component of a fast-absorbing multifilament with about more than 20 microns of diameter of each filament, which has a segmented polyaxial copolymer including at least 70 percent of glycolide-based sequences, is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
