摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method etc., with which high-precision picture quality improvement processing can be performed to a frame image obtained by decoding encoded motion picture data having motion information by suitably weighting the frame image. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing method according to the present invention includes: a frame selection step (S103) of selecting a standard frame and a reference frame; an image displacement amount calculation step (S104) of calculating the image displacement amount between the reference frame and standard frame; a weight coefficient generation step (S105) of generating a weight coefficient using at least one of the kind of encoding of the reference frame and the motion information of the encoded motion picture data; and a picture quality improvement step (S107) of performing picture quality improvement processing of the reference frame using the image displacement amount calculated in the image displacement amount calculation step (S104) and the weight coefficient generated in the weight coefficient generation step (S105). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
