DISPLAY DEVICE AND ITS DRIVING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of smoothly displaying an image even at a low temperature by raising the voltage level of a gate turn-on signal sufficiently high even at a low temperature by a gate driving part integrated with a display panel.

SOLUTION: In this display device, a signal converting part outputs a signal maintaining an output enable signal to a low level, as a second output enable signal in a high level period of a vertical synchronous start signal, and a gate clock generating part makes the initial high level period of a gate clock signal narrower than a succeeding high level period in each frame based on the second output enable signal and a driving clock signal. The gate clock generating part further maintains a gate clock bar signal to a low level from the start time of each frame to the start time of the initial high level period of the gate clock signal.
