<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diet effect imparting agent having a diet effect, also by flavor, through exciting the white adipose tissue sympathetic nerve, brown adipose tissue sympathetic nerve and adrenal gland sympathetic nerve, a diet perfume composition containing the diet effect imparting agent, a diet cosmetic and diet food and drink. <P>SOLUTION: The diet effect imparting agent contains at least one kind of compound selected from 2-ethyl-3,5-dimethylpyrazine, 2-acetylthiazole and 2-furfurylmercaptan as an active component, and the diet perfume composition comprises the diet effect imparting agent.
